Engine & Gearbox Building

From standard road outputs to 500hp race engines for Porsche, Historic Touring Cars and other unique applications, Cascone Auto Sport builds and modifies all engines and gearboxes in-house.
We offer a full engine and gearbox building service in a purpose-built assembly room where all our engine and gearboxes are built.

With many years of building championship-winning cars, we can build you that full house race motor you always wanted, rebuild your beloved 911 engine, or replace those worn synchros in your gearbox.

At any one time there are several engines on the go in the engine room. Engines come apart for many reasons. These include:

• Performance Upgrades
• Rebuilding due to old and worn components
• Oil Leaks
• Broken Head Studs
• Top End Overhauls
• Component Failures

Not only do we build road car engines, but we also build race engines for all categories. Currently we have built engines for Sport Car Racing, Historic Touring Car Racing, Endurance Series Racing, Hill Climbing and Time Attack.

We also supply and install Limited Slip Differentials (LSDs), gear ratio upgrades, gearbox racing modifications and reconditioning.

If needed we offer a full engine dyno facility where we run in and tune your engine to ensure it has been tuned to maximum power and reliability before it is fitted back into your car.
